12:00 – 3:00      Ongoing: Scenes from Shakespeare and Poetry Recitations
12:30 – 1:30      Stage Combat Demonstrations and Children’s Classes
12:00 -  4:00      Public reading of all of Shakespeare's 154 Sonnets.
1:00 –   2:00      Rat Pucking & Jousting
12:00 – 2:30      Fairy Garden – Visit the Fairies in their Garden
2:00 –   2:30      Costume Parade and Costume Contest
2:30 –   3:00      Tea with Mr. Shakespeare: Tea, Apple “Tea” and Birthday Cake
2:45 –   3:00      Costume Contest Winners announced
4:00 –   6:00      Staged reading of William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”
This event is for Shakespeare fans of all ages!  
Come in costume if you wish, or try on one of ours in our Shakespeare Photo booth!

Ages 2 and up:         Children’s activity area, Fairy garden and Tea with Mr. Shakespeare
Ages 6 – Adult:         Learn to “sword fight” or dance to a Renaissance tune. Rat Pucking,
                               Tea with Mr. Shakespeare and The Fairy Garden.
Teens & Adults         Stage combat demonstrations, Rat Pucking, Renaissance Dance, Costume  
                               contest, Tea with Mr. Shakespeare

Shakespeare Miami’s Company members and professional actors from across South Florida will present
Sonnets, and Scenes from Romeo + Juliet, Othello, Macbeth, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream
and more.   

Community members will participate in the
National Poetry Month celebration by reading poems by or
inspired by Shakespeare.

PARKING
Park in the parking lot next to the Coconut Grove Playhouse and walk across the street to the park
entrance.  Look for the Big Anchor. Walk down the path to the Historic House and the park.
