Show:

Pre-show workshop 10:00 - 11:00
School Show 11:30-12:30.

Every year, Shakespeare Miami presents a free Shakespeare show for high school students and
advanced Middle school students.  This high energy and fast paced show features scenes from its
current production, student participation, scene break-downs, Shakespeare rap contests, stage combat
demonstrations and generally letting students in on the secrets of why real men do wear tights and why
Shakespeare's works have endured for over 450 years.

Our actor/instructors rip through the myths, and get to the fun bits, fart jokes and language so
impossibly beautiful that it can make the captain of the football team break down and blubber like a little
girl.  Shakespeare is powerful stuff and Shakespeare Miami wants your students to have the power.

The Shakespeare Show is  free of charge, but seating is limited to 530 seats.  Teachers wishing to have
their class participate in the workshop need to email a request  giving the number in their class, their
ages, grade level and previous experience with Shakespeare in class.

Free Pre and post show materials are online for all teachers, regardless of whether they are attending
