Shakespeare in the Modern World

Shakespeare in the Park - Miami
is a non profit theater company dedicated to providing
quality theater to the citizens of South Florida free of
charge.   In keeping with our mission, we are producing a
television series for public television.

This series will be shown in six parts.  The first two 30
minute segments will be shot in the studio and will
address auditions, character development and the
rehearsal process.  The last four segments will feature a
production of  Shakespeare's play, Much Ado About
Nothing which will be shot on location in and around
Miami and Coconut Grove.

The production will be set in modern day  Miami and we
will strive for  natural performances with high energy,
focusing on comedy.
