Shakespeare Miami presents a Short Attention Span Shakespeare Show!
This annual production deals with the Mainstage production of William Shakespeare's The Tempest.
It is NOT a full production, but rather an exploration of the play, the themes, and history of the Renaissance era.
Every year the cast and crew come up with new ways to make Shakespeare's plays leap into the students'
imagination.  Epic Stage Combat battles, Student participation in scenes, Student or teacher "make-overs"
Shakespeare Rap contests, combined with scenes from our mainstage production make this an exciting
afternoon for students from 8th through 12th grades.

Scenes are stopped, directing decisions explained, inside jokes are spelled out and original source materials are
discussed. Careers in the theatre and necessary education are illustrated by our  professional crew and cast.
